P.J. Blanchfield

P.J. Blanchfield is a lifelong Albany County resident. He is a graduate of Christian Brothers Academy and Hamilton College. Upon graduating from college in 1986, he obtained his New York State broker's license for property and casualty insurance and opened a satellite office for the established insurance agency Blanchfield & Howard.
Working in the insurance field helped develop his interest in the practice of law. In 1989 he attended New England School of Law in Boston, Massachusetts where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1992.
Starting in 1993, P.J. joined the Albany County District Attorney's Office where he gained invaluable trial experience. He served as a felony trial assistant, starting out in the Narcotics Unit where he successfully prosecuted drug crimes in Albany County. He then was assigned to the Career Criminal Unit where he had the distinction of being the special gun prosecutor for Albany County. He tried over 50 cases to jury verdict.
In 2005. P.J. left the District Attorney's Office and entered private practice. His focus has been on criminal defense. His work as a prosecutor has given him a unique perspective on how to handle a criminal case that others do not have. He has successfully represented clients by earning acquittals after trial, gaining dismissals through motion practice, and achieving advantageous plea bargains through skilled negotiations. He has also successfully represented professionals charged with misconduct by the New York State Education Department. He is a skilled advocate and litigator and has earned the respect of his colleagues and the legal profession.

Charlene S. Fallon

Charlene S. Fallon was born in Anaheim, CA, and moved to the Albany, NY area in 1985. After obtaining her degree in Registered Nursing, she worked in the labor and delivery unit of a local hospital for thirteen years. A graduate of SUNY Albany, she returned to school and earned her Juris Doctor from Western New England University, School of Law.
Ms. Fallon's medical background gives her a unique perspective on injuries claimed in all aspects of medically related litigation, including medical malpractice and personal injury. Ms. Fallon's ability to organize and analyze the medical records of injured persons gives her a distinct advantage in evaluating the extent of and the monetary worth of claimed personal injuries. Ms. Fallon has lectured on this subject to various claims adjusters, paralegals and fellow attorneys. In addition, Ms. Fallon has vast experience in the negotiation of settlements.

Peter S. Fallon

Peter S. Fallon was born in Niskayuna, NY, and has lived in the Capital Region for his entire life. After graduating local Shaker High School, he received a Bachelor of Science from SUNY Plattsburgh, majoring in Political Science with a minor in Business. From there, he earned his Juris Doctor from Albany Law School in 2012.
After doing several internships in the field of criminal defense during his tenure at Albany Law School, Mr. Fallon became an Assistant Public Defender for the County of Albany shortly after graduation. In handling a voluminous caseload consisting of everything from simple violations to misdemeanors to serious felonies, Mr. Fallon became an expert not only on criminal law, but also gained invaluable experience by working inside of a court room on a daily basis. When the City of Albany formed a new court which consisted of only DWI cases, Mr. Fallon was assigned to defend every misdemeanor DWI case prosecuted in the City of Albany, where he excelled at both negotiating fair pleas for his clients and defending his clients in trial.
Mr. Fallon not only has vast courtroom experience and an excellent trial record, but also has great relationships with both the prosecutors and the judges in the Capital Region, making him an excellent negotiator when dealing with criminal cases.
Following his employment as an Assistant Public Defender, Mr. Fallon continued to practice criminal law, but expanded his knowledge of law by joining the law firm Blanchfield & Fallon, LLP. In doing so, Mr. Fallon has gained valuable experience in the practices of personal injury law, real estate law, landlord and tenant law, medical malpractice law, business transactions and any number of other fields.
